The tab-and-slot pieces slide together with zero frustration, and I love that there’s not a drop of glue anywhere on my table. My kid and I spent a quiet Sunday evening snapping the peacock together piece by piece, and it was genuinely fun to watch the shape emerge without any tools.

The pieces punched out cleanly with no ragged edges, and the peacock’s tail feathers locked together so snugly that I didn’t need a single drop of glue. Even after assembling it twice with my kids, the joints still hold firm, which says a lot for a wooden kit this intricate.

Took an hour with my nephew on a rainy Saturday and neither of us wanted to stop. The punch-out sheets are so well-cut that even the tiny peacock tail feathers stayed in one piece, and the finished wood looks lovely on his shelf.
