The spiral chute pieces fit together snugly, so the marbles actually make it all the way down instead of snagging at the joints. My daughter rebuilt hers into a different spaceport layout twice in one afternoon, which says a lot for a kit in this price range.

The marble run kept my son busy for almost two hours on a rainy afternoon, and the pieces clicked together without any wobble. Watching the marbles zip through the spaceport curves is oddly satisfying for me too, honestly.

My 9-year-old and I built the whole spaceport run together on a rainy afternoon and the marbles zipping through the loop-the-loop had us both cheering. The pieces snap together firmly enough that it survives being moved around the living room, though you do need to follow the diagram closely.
