It’s rare to find a kit where the painting and assembly actually feel equally rewarding, but this one nails it. The pre-cut pieces fit together snugly, so the peacock stands proud on my shelf without any wobble. I spent a whole afternoon just layering blues and greens on those tail feathers.

The tail feathers took me a whole rainy afternoon to finish, but the way they fan out once assembled makes the paint job pop like a real mosaic. I grabbed the gold and teal set and now it’s the centerpiece of my bookshelf.

The tail pieces clicked together so satisfyingly, and it actually holds its shape once you’re done—no wobbly parts. I spent a relaxed evening painting the feathers in teal and gold, and it’s now the prettiest thing on my shelf.
