The noren curtain actually sways a little when you brush past the finished shelf—such a tiny detail, but it makes the whole scene feel alive. Took me a slow weekend to assemble, and the sake bottles are so tiny my cat tried to steal one.

The noren curtain above the window is such a tiny detail but it really pulls the whole scene together. I spent a whole weekend on this kit and the ramen bowls and counter setup look incredible on my shelf.

The noren curtain and the little sake bottles on the counter are so detailed I caught myself just staring at them for a good five minutes. Putting it together was fiddly in spots, but the finished nook makes my bookshelf look like a tiny alleyway in Kyoto.
