Watching that little automated roaster spin to life after the last wooden peg clicked in was genuinely magical. The mechanical workings are smooth enough that I caught myself running the cycle over and over, just to see the beans tumble.

I was skeptical the tiny gears would actually move after assembly, but watching the miniature roaster spin through the little glass window is genuinely mesmerizing. Took me a relaxed weekend to build, and the wooden pieces fit so precisely that I didn't need glue once.

The gears click together so satisfyingly as you assemble the roasting drum—it actually rotates when you turn the crank, which feels like magic. I finished it in one rainy afternoon and now it's the centerpiece of my shelf, even though I almost lost a piece to my cat twice.
