Hands Craft | 光之屋

The kit’s precision-cut pieces fit together flawlessly; the multi-level layout came alive in about two evenings of steady work. Finishing the rooftop trim gave me that “it’s actually real” moment I didn’t expect from a cardboard-and-wood build.

The sliding paper doors and the little kotatsu table are so detailed that I had to stop and admire them twice before gluing the next wall. It's easily the most relaxing weekend I've spent in months, and the finished house looks stunning on my shelf.

The little sliding shoji-style panels were the fiddliest part, but once they clicked into place the whole house felt so alive and cozy. I lost an entire weekend to this kit and honestly, it was exactly the escape I needed.
