Punching out the pieces took barely any effort, and my daughter and I had the whole horse together in one relaxed evening with zero frustration. It's rare to find a kit that keeps both a 9-year-old and a parent genuinely engaged without needing any cleanup or tools.
The pieces fit together so snugly that no glue or tools were needed, which made the whole build super satisfying. My daughter and I spent a rainy afternoon on it, and watching the horse take shape was genuinely fun for both of us.
The punch-out sheets are neat and the pieces fit together cleanly, but assembly took longer than expected and some joints feel a bit loose once built. It's a decent way to spend an afternoon with my kid, though I'm not sure it holds up to repeated handling.
