The windows and door frames are cut with such precision that the whole cottage glows like a real winter scene once the little LED lights are in. I lost an entire evening to the assembly, but the staircase and chimney details made every minute worth it.

The little window boxes and the chimney details really bring the holiday spirit to life as you build. I lost track of time for two evenings putting the two-story diorama together, and the finished piece looks magical on my shelf.
