The little lamp shades and the tiny bookshelf corners are so precise, it’s almost meditative to assemble. I lost a whole evening to the wiring and felt genuinely sad when it was done.

I’m not usually a patient person, but snapping those tiny wooden pieces into place was weirdly calming—the kit’s layout makes it easy to lose an entire evening without even noticing. The finished studio has so much detail that I keep finding new little corners to admire.

The pre-cut wood pieces fit together so precisely that I barely needed any glue for the frame, and the little lanterns actually glow once you wire the battery pack in. I’ve got a few other kits under my belt, but this one’s the most relaxing build I’ve done in ages — perfect for a quiet weekend.
